In the midst of chaos

In the midst of chaos, be comfortable with yourself.

“Love yourself first and everything else falls into line. Your really have to love yourself to get anything done in this world.”- Lucille Ball

Do yourself a favor today and take a moment to appreciate who you are and who you have become. We often forget to thank our mind, body, and spirit for making it this far in life; we often underappreciate ourselves. When was the last time you gave yourself applause? When was the last time you took time for yourself?

The world has reopened again, and it’s fair to want to get back into it, get back with your friends and family, and experience what used to be expected. We took life for granted, but we also have taken ourselves for granted. Believe it or not, we’re not machines; we’re not built to endure life like the products we have invented. We have become victims of our own crucifixion, our own successes.

We think too much and still feel so little. Chaos has always existed and will always exist; we’ve evolved our mind, body, but not our heart. We’ve broken our own rules for the satisfaction of others, for the mere pleasure of attention and affection. It’s not your fault that you have neglected to stay true to yourself; we’re simply products of our own environment. Nonetheless, this is a reminder to enjoy your relationship with yourself.

Easier said than done, yet still possible; anything is possible once we learn to love ourselves. Adore the time of being alone, not in a way where your thoughts saturate your subconscious to the point of recession, but alone where you affirm who you are and who you will be. How close are you to making your dreams your reality? If you can conceive it, you can achieve it.

We all have value; we all have meaning in this humble life, remember that, and you’ll find your purpose, find your peace.
