Veli V is a self-taught artist from Jamaica Queens.
Her mediums are digital and oil paint. Veli creates her digital pieces and paintings with two different intentions. Creating digital work is like playing a video game to her, whereas painting is like journaling. Her digital work is meant to depict Black women in the most beautiful way possible, and her paintings are intended to evoke emotion or spark deep thought.
