I’m Marcela Gonzalez, but I go by Marm or Maisy online; I’m an Afro-Latine queer artist based in Tampa, Florida.
I have a BA in Studio Art with a concentration in Painting from the University of South Florida.I’m creating paintings and digital works of myself and my environment concerning my identity utilizing my background in storytelling and illustration. The work output melds intimate memories and emotions of the present, my love for women, and my media consumption through my chosen imagery.
