My name is Matthew Maxwell, and I’m a Florida-based artist.
I make art exploring various topics like mental liberty, greed, and spiritual topics. When someone sees my art, I would like their first thought to be about how the painting describes them. Do you feel my anger or sorrow? Do you empathize with what is being said? Do you see yourself as one of the abstract images? I would like to go past making just pretty pictures and convey universal truths.
