Sumaya Amiri
My name is Sumaya Amiri. I’m a 24-years old dental student with Afghan roots raised in Denmark.
My first book, ‘ A Muslim Woman’s Diary,’ is a book for Muslim practicing as well as non-practicing females all around the world. The book centers on topics such as haya, sabr, nafs, and obedience. The inspiration behind the book was mainly to reach out to women who have a hard time finding out where they belong in western society and what defines a Muslimah.
Along the way, I also mention how to maintain sabr during trials and what it means to beat one’s nafs. Most important, the book ends with how to obey your parents and The Almighty.
