For the past five years, Yemen has been suffering through war, famine, and disease. A group of 6 high school students set out to raise awareness and money for the suffering families, starving children, and lost homes.
In Yemen, a child dies every 10 minutes from preventable causes. … Eighty percent of the population — 24 million people, including roughly 12 million children — require humanitarian assistance. Cholera is endemic. Over 2 million children are malnourished. The goal is to raise as much money as possible for the families in need and raise awareness for this unknown devastation.
100% of donations will reach and go to Yemen to support the devastated families, starving children, and suffering people. Yemen is in a deadlock and needs aid immediately. The money will go to IslamicRelief, an organization dedicated to helping Yemen’s people and are on the grounds.
