Eliezer Lompo
Eliezer Lompo, also known as “El,” is a 17-year-old Burkinabe visual artist born and raised in Philly.
His path to inner peace is the main aim and theme in his art. From the symbolism to the abstractions in his paintings, he strives to portray his emotions clearly, no matter how simple or complex the piece is. “I’m not too much of a good speaker, so I would rather put my thoughts down on the canvas. Trying too hard will get me nowhere, though, so I take it easy and avoid forcing it. Otherwise, I would be wasting my time. I’m not really looking for fame or riches with my work really, just tranquility.”
